Alternatives Transportation Routes :
Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport is still open with normal operations. However, for travelers concerned with unpredictable Airport closure due to ash clouds, there are alternative ways to continue the journey to Bali as below :

- Blimbingsari Airport in Banyuwangi, East Java
The Airport offers direct flights from and/or to the International Airports in Jakarta and Surabaya. Both International Airports can be reach also by overland: car, public buses, VIP night buses or train.

- Gilimanuk Harbor Bali, Car Ferry Port
To and from East Java Island, located in the North West edge of Bali.

Java and Bali are only separated by a narrow stretch of Bali Straits. Travelers can continue their overland journey from East Java to Bali, or vice versa, via public ferry or fast boat. The trip between Sang Giri Glamping to Gilimanuk Harbor is about 2,5 hours away. Crossing over to East Java by Car Ferry needs about 40 minutes. From there, it takes 35 minutes to Blimbingsari Airport, 10 minutes to the train station or for VIP night buses you can start from Tabanan or Denpasar Bali.
